International Women's Day is an annual celebration of the amazing achievements of women globally, from social through to political accomplishments. Founded in 1911, it's grown in momentum year upon year, to become the movement it has today.
International Women's Day 2023's focus is on Embracing Equity - why equal isn't always fair and why equal opportunities aren't enough. "Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances, and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome."
